TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment Terms: Final payment is due on the day of the event, prior to its commencement. Payments can be made via Paynow to UEN: 202430028K

 

1. Agreement and Application

By accessing our website or ordering our products or services (via website, hotline, email, or other methods), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Ordering and Payment

2.1. Order Confirmation: Your order is only confirmed once you make payment and you receive acknowledgement from us. We reserve the right to reject any order at our discretion without explanation.

 

2.2. Payment Requirements: We will only deliver products or services after receiving full payment. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. Cancellations/rescheduling must be made at least 3 days in advance of the scheduled event. Cancellations made after this period will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Rescheduling will be confirmed subject to chef availability.

 

2.3. Cancellation by Us: We may cancel orders due to unavailability, pricing errors, or mistakes in your order. If we cancel, any payments made will be refunded unless the cancellation is due to a breach of our terms.

 

2.4. Customer Cancellations: You may postpone your order within 72 hours prior to the delivery date if there are any changes. Please note that there are no refund options available. Rescheduling will be confirmed subject to chef availability.

 

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1. Accurate Information: Ensure that the information provided in your order is accurate and current. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by incorrect or incomplete details.

 

3.2. Food Handling: Exercise caution with food handling, especially if you or your guests have food allergies. We do not guarantee allergen-free food and are not liable for any allergic reactions. Cooked food is best eaten within 2.5 hours of delivery, and can be reheated over the bbq grill.

3.3. Handling and Consumption: Follow standard food safety practices, such as covering food, avoiding expired items, not refreezing thawed food, cooking food thoroughly, washing utensils, and adhering to specific handling instructions provided by us.

 

3.4. Trash Disposal: Proper disposal of trash is the customer’s responsibility. We do not offer trash disposal services and are not liable for any related costs.

 

3.5. Return of rental equipment: Rental equipment will be collected back from the customer within 1-2 working days after the end of the event. Customers will be liable for any loss or damage of rental equipment.

 

4. Delivery

4.1. Delivery Schedule: The Good Family BBQ offers Standard Delivery in 2.5-hour slots (free for orders over $500) and 1-hour delivery slots (free for orders over $850), with customers needing to be present at the start of their chosen slot.

 

4.2. Delivery Conditions: If someone else accepts delivery on your behalf, they act as your agent. 

 

4.3. Inspection and Issues: Inspect your order upon delivery. If there are issues such as spoiled, damaged, incorrect, or missing items, notify us immediately at our hotline at 84200392.

 

4.4. Inaccessible Locations: For locations with no trolly access, delivery will only be made to places where trolly can reach. To deliver up stairways, an additional fee of $15 per floor or flight will be incurred.

4.5. Remote Locations: For certain remote locations such as Sentosa Island or Pulau Ubin, an additional delivery fee of $10 may be charged.

 

5. Chef Service Terms

5.1. Weather Conditions: In the event of inclement weather, our BBQ chefs and assistants will make all reasonable efforts to cook the food to the best of their ability. However, we cannot guarantee the complete cooking of food under severe weather conditions such as heavy rain. Please note, refunds cannot be issued due to weather-related challenges

 

5.2 Cooking and Service Time: Our chefs are committed to cooking all allocated food within the specified time slot. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee the complete cooking of all food within this time frame. The recommended chef-to-guests ratio is 1 chef for every 25 guests. Should the chef be available to extend their service beyond the agreed time, additional hours will be charged at a rate of $45 per hour during non-peak periods and $60 per hour during peak periods.

 

5.3. Preparation Time: Setting up the BBQ, particularly charcoal pits, requires a varying amount of time depending on the equipment and conditions. This setup time is included within the allocated service duration

 

5.4. Sickness or Emergency Leave. In the unlikely event that our chef is sick or unable to attend due to an emergency, we will make every effort to find a replacement chef. If a replacement chef is not available, we will offer you the option to reschedule the event or provide a full refund of the chef service portion alone with a $20 compensation fee out of goodwill.

 

5.5. Indemnification: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Good Family BBQ from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from the event. It is understood that the chefs and assistants provided by The Good Family BBQ are independent freelancers and not employees. As such, these freelancers are solely responsible for their actions, including any instances of negligence or intentional misconduct. The Good Family BBQ shall not be held liable for the actions or omissions of these independent contractors.

 

6. Product Issues

6.1. Reporting Problems: Report any issues with your delivery immediately. We may inspect the products and request returns if necessary.

 

6.2. Resolution: If we determine there are issues, we may replace the items, refund part of the price, or offer another remedy at our discretion.

 

7. Tardiness Policy

7.1. If our chef arrives later than the scheduled time, we will endeavor to extend the service by the corresponding delay. If extending the service is not possible, a pro-rated refund will be offered based on the time missed.

 

8. Risk and Ownership

8.1. Risk Transfer: Risk transfers to you upon receipt of the delivery.

 

8.2. Ownership Transfer: Ownership transfers to you upon receipt, provided full payment has been made.

 

9. Use of Website

9.1. Content Use: Our website content is our property and cannot be used for commercial purposes without permission.

 

9.2. Disclaimer: Our website is provided "as-is." We do not guarantee accuracy or availability and are not liable for errors or omissions.

 

9.3. External Links: We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from our site.

 

9.4. Illustrations: Images on our website are for illustration purposes and may not represent the actual products.

 

10. Liability and Indemnity

10.1. Product Quality: Our products are of satisfactory quality, but all other warranties are excluded. For any issues with the food provided, please contact our food supplier at 93372827.

 

10.2. Third-Party Delivery: We use third-party delivery services and are not responsible for their actions unless directly instructed by us.

 

10.3. Liability Limit: Our total liability is limited to twice the price of the product or S$100 for other cases. We are not liable for indirect or punitive damages.

 

10.4. Indemnity: You agree to indemnify us against any claims or costs arising from your breach of these terms.

 

11. Termination

We may terminate your access to our website, account, or services if you breach these terms or for other reasons we deem appropriate.

 

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or strikes.

 

13. General Provisions

13.1. Waiver: Any waiver of rights must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative.

 

13.2. Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining terms remain in effect.

 

13.3. Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between us, superseding any prior agreements.

 

13.4. Changes: We may revise these terms by updating our website. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the changes.

 

13.5. Governing Law: These terms are governed by Singapore law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts
